Amiloxate
Older UVB cinnamate still permitted in Australia at 10%. Same family as octinoxate. Uncommon in new formulas.
Amiloxate is an isoamyl cinnamate UVB filter, chemically related to octinoxate. Australia and the EU allow 10%. It is not on the US OTC monograph; it is one of the pending applications for which FDA has asked for more safety data before any GRASE decision.
The contemporary human dataset is thinner than for octinoxate. Treat it like a quiet older cinnamate: legal in Australia, not a first-choice UVB filter if ethylhexyl triazone or bemotrizinol is available.
