Iscotrizinol
Modern photostable UVB triazine. EU allows 10%. Not on the Australian permitted list and not on the US monograph.
Iscotrizinol is a large-molecule oil-soluble triazine UVB filter, a close cousin of ethylhexyl triazone. The EU allows 10%. It is used in European and Asian high-SPF formulas.
It does not appear in TGA Table 9 of August 2025 and is treated here as not permitted in listed Australian therapeutic sunscreens. It is also not on the US OTC monograph.
Toxicologically it belongs with the modern low-penetration triazines. Include it so imported EU labels can be decoded.
