Meradimate
Old UVA2 anthranilate. Australia still allows 5%. Not an EU UV filter. Effectively a US-list leftover.
Meradimate is a menthyl ester of anthranilic acid with weak UVA2 coverage. Australia lists it at 5%. It is not on EU Annex VI. FDA still has it on the old monograph as needing more data.
No contemporary safety package of the kind SCCS or TGA now expect for new filters. Rare to absent on Australian shelves.
