Efficient photostable UVA+UVB filter. Low absorption. Australia allows 10%. Nano forms should not be inhaled.
Tris-biphenyl triazine is a modern photostable triazine covering UVB and UVA2. SCCS found low dermal and oral absorption and concluded 10% is safe for dermal application. Australia allows 10%. The EU also allows 10% and bars it from sprays.
Nano grades should not be inhaled. Otherwise it belongs with bemotrizinol and bisoctrizole as a low-uncertainty modern filter. Relatively new on the Australian permitted list compared with Tinosorb S and M.
